Date: XVII century. Late 17th - early 18th century.

Material: Wood, levkas, tempera

Dimensions:  height 30,7 cm, width 26 cm

The icon shows a figure of the Holy Virgin lying on the bed, surrounded by the Apostles. In the center is a figure of Jesus Christ holding in his hand a swaddled figure of a baby child – a symbol of the immaculate spirit. To his left and right are angels and saints. In the lower corner is an angel cutting off Aphonia’s hand.
