Origin: From the Cathedral of St. Nicholas of Dvorishchensky, Veliky Novgorod.

Material: Wood, tempera, wrought silver

Diameter:  58,5 cm

Nicholas the Wonderworker is depicted in frontal position; his right hand is raised in two-finger blessing. With his left hand, covered with the edge of phelony and omophorion, the saint holds a closed Gospel book.
