Date: XIII century. The first quarter of the 13th c.

Origin: From Yaroslavl Assumption Cathedral.

Material: Wood, levkas, tempera

Dimensions:  height 44,8 cm, width 37 cm

The legend has it that this devotional “home” icon belonged to blessed princes Basil (1229-1249) and Constantin (?-1257) of Yaroslavl and for centuries hang above their reliquary in the cathedral.
