Date: XVII century. The third quarter of the 17th c.

Origin: From the Bororoditsko-Lysogorskaya church, Kadnikovsky uezd.

Material: Wood, canvas, levkas, tempera

Dimensions:  height 118 cm, width 99 cm

In the upper part of the icon is the scene of the ascension of Prophet Elijah to heavens. To the left is the figure of Jesus Christ enthroned. Below are scenes from the life of the saint: the prophet is fed by the raven in the desert, the apparition of the angel to the prophet, prophet Elijah is dividing the waters of Jordan with his cloak in the presence of Prophet Elisha.
