St. Jacob Borovitsky is a Russian saint, a Fool in Christ and the Wonderworker of Borovichi and Novgorod. The righteous Jacob is portrayed standing before the Mother of God of Iveron. In the lower part is a panoramic view of the Iveron Monastery surrounded by a lake. The icon’s date is established from the silver setting manufactured in Saratov in 1871.
