Iconography:  Hospitality of Abraham’s (The Old Testament Trinity)

Date: XIX century. 1837

Origin: From the church commemorating the Saint Life-Giving Trinity in the village of Ulom, Cherepovetskiy district, Novgorodskaya region (now – Cherepovetskiy district, Vologodskaya region).

Material: Wood, tempera

Dimensions:  height 107 cm, width 80 cm

The center of the composition shows the depiction of the three angels seated around the table throne. At their sides are represented standing Abraham and Sarah holding the phials in their hands. In the lower part of the composition is the servant immolating the calf.

Was deposited in 1938.

Restoration: the All-Russian Art Scientific and Restoration Center named after I.E. Grabar, 1993, restorer – Mironova L.A.
