Iconography:  Sergius of Radonezh, Venerable

Date: XVII century. Second half of the 17th century

Origin: From the Deesis row of iconostasis of the church commemorating Saint Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian in the Troitse-Blagoveshchenskaya Sinoezerskaya hermitage in Ustyuzhenskiy district, Novogorodskaya region (now Chagodishchenskiy district, Vologodskaya region). The hermitage was founded in 1600 by reverend Euphrosynus Sinoezerskiy (+1612).

Material: Wood, tempera

Dimensions:  height 93 cm, width 35 cm

Was deposited in 1936.

Restoration: Vologda branch of the All-Russian Art Scientific and Restoration Center named after I.E. Grabar, 1992, restorer – Sergeeva O.V.
