Evangelist Luke is represented painting the icon of the Mother of God (the mirror image of the iconographic type Our Lady of Tikhvin). Behind him is the Lord’s Wisdom depicted as an angel. The Holy Virgin poses for an icon. Before Her chest is the waist-length depiction of Child Jesus.
